what sort of shop wopuld sell perspex?

I want to replace a decoratvie clear pannel on my bass with a red one, it’s kind of a pick-guard but i don’t use a pick so it’s pretty much decorative.
But what sort of shop sells perspex? Prefereably somewhere i can get it cut to size too. I don’t imagine it’s sufficiently in demand for there to be dedicated perspex shops out there? what sort of shop would sell it. I want to buy locally not on line.

You can buy it at about any plexi gass or glass cutting place like Lowes, Home Depot, or glass shops that custom make window glass etc. Hope this helps you.

For the most choice in acrylic sheeting (brands like Perspex, Lucite, etc.), go to a “plastics store.” We have Tap Plastics in our area, but you can just look in your Yellow Pages under “plastics” to see what you have.
They’ll have various patterns and colors (or can order them), and will cut any shape you want. There are also ways to cut acrylic sheeting with a special blade tool, but not sure how easy it is to cut non-straight lines with them.
(It’s also possible that some guitar places would have things like that or be able to custom order them.)
