Speak to your local Business Link for free help and advice on starting your shop. Generally speaking, you shouldn’t need a licence.
You will need to think about things like the lease of the premises, insurance, employment legislation, health and safety, fire regulations. It sounds like a lot but Business Link will help guide you through it all.
Good luck!
