Partnering with someone that has the ability to provide the necessary funds you need, could be a very workable solution to your desire to open a retail food business. There are many people out there that may have an interest to do something like this with you.
Start by asking people you know personally. Then, you could post a very inexpensive ad in a local paper, advertising that you are looking for a business partner, etc.
Also, you can contact your local SCORE chapter. You can find them on the web. It is a non profit organization, comprised of retired Executives who volunteer to help individuals who desire to start a small business.
Hope this helped you.
