Is A Retail Lease Agreement Legal if Only One Party Signs It?
Posted by: | CommentsWe signed a retail lease 3 months ago. The prospective landlord says he will sign it as soon as he gets some additional permits. We are tired of waiting. He has not asked for a security depost either. Is this lease still legal, as we feel as though we don’t want to pursue this anymore since he keeps giving us one excuse after another. Thank you!

What is the difference between Ask Min Rent and Ask Max Rent on a retail lease?
Posted by: | CommentsIn looking for office space for lease, I’m seeing the Rent and Additional rent, which I know is the base and then the taxes/utilities/management fees etc… but on the Rent, I’m seeing “Asking Net Rent Min” and “Asking Net Rent Max”. Why the range?

What is “T I Money” in terms of a Retail Lease agreement ?

The “TI Money” is the money that would be paid to me ?

Is My Lease Still Valid?
Posted by: | CommentsI signed a retail lease almost 4 months ago for a space for my restaurant. The landlord has not signed it yet nor have they asked for a security deposit. They won’t tell me when the space will be ready or anything. They keep telling me that they are working on getting the building permits, architectural drawings, etc. I’m need to move ASAP and am thinking to look elsewhere. Is this lease still binding, even though it was 4 months ago and nobody but myself signed it? No security deposit or anything. Thank you for your time.

What do I look for in a retail lease?
Posted by: | CommentsMyself and a couple other partners are forming an LLC and will be looking for a retail store front to lease in CA, Los Angeles city. We are new to this and do not know exactly what to look for in this type of lease. Is it possible to negotiate with someone like for example, pay cash upfront for like 6-9 months and keep the rent the same for the second year. The type of business is ****** spa and foot masage service.
