Can the seller get out of a Lease Back contract they have already signed?
Posted by: | CommentsMy husband and I are buying a house. Originally the sellers said they wanted to do a lease back. (Where they rent there house back from us after we buy for a month) Both sides have signed all the contracts and it is supposed to be final. Now they say they don’t want to do it and want to move out at the close of Escrow. We want them to stay for the month they leased they are trying to get out of the contract by saying the wording does not obligate them to stay. It’s a Coldwell banker contract. Can they really get out of it? Only answer if you know about this stuff…

How do I get a quick sale on a fixer modular?
Posted by: | CommentsWe have been through the wringer with a contractor who has done substandard work and wandered away with projects half done. Now we just want out. How do we get a quick sale on a modular on a permanent foundation on it’s own lot? Are any of those “We pay cash for homes” websites legit? We have some plusses, such as a great location and big decks, but the the carpets are the pits and the back deck is dryrotted, among other problems. Total repairs to get the place into top-notch condition would be 15-18k. Any ideas? How low is too low? A very similar home, except in good-not great-condition went for $345k last week. How badly will we need to discount this place to attract a buyer? Any insight is appreciated.

What are the steps to do a voluntary vehicle repossession?
Posted by: | CommentsMy husband recently had an accident, his not working. Were not able to pay the car anymore. The lender told us, if we do a voluntary reposession on the vehicle that they will sell it on an auction and depends what the price they sell the car and the rest I will need to pay. I could sell the car to they told me I called some places and they told me that it depends on what the car it’s worth and the rest I need to pay. So I just wanted some advise. Thanks a lot.

How can I get out of my apartment lease?
Posted by: | CommentsHere is the situation:
I signed a one year lease in November of 2006, so my lease expires in November of 2007. This is is my second one year lease with the apartment managers.
I recentlly promoted at work and I am being moved to another city, about an hour away.
I found my first lease agreement and their is a transfer clause that allows me to get out of my lease with a 30 day notice and a letter from my company. However, I do lose my deposit ($300).
My newest lease does not have a transfer clause and the only thing close to it is a military clause (I live in a military town) that allows soldiers to get out of a lease if they receive orders taking them somwhere else.
I wouldn’t exactly describe my apartment managers as friendly. They’ve been pretty strict with noise, littering and unauthorized vehicles in the apartment complex.

Repossession
We are considering leasing a Mercedes and have talked to approximately six different Mercedes dealerships within our state. They are all offering a different payment amount on vehicles with the exact same MSRP, why is that????? Does anyone know how a dealership calculates a lease payment? What is the formula? Also, anyone familiar with balloon loan option for an auto loan? Thanks!

What is the best way to prevent your car from repossession?
Posted by: | CommentsOther than the obvious (pay the bill). I’ve paid a $7800 loan down to $1653, and have not been able to make last month’s payment. They simply won’t reason about it, they seem like even though it is less than 60 days overdue that it will be repossessed at any second. Should I hide it?
Passive Income
We are trying to relocate to set up a business, unfortunately the one thing stopping this is a house sale.
It has been on the market for two months now, we had a buyer who dropped out.
Have seen ‘Quick House Sale Companies’ on the Internet and wondered if anyone has used them.

What do i do when lease agreement is coming to end in Indiana?
Posted by: | CommentsI am new to the rental game. I am approaching the end of the year lease agreement that my renter and myself have. If i no longer would like for this property to be rented is there something i should know. Such as, how much notice do i give the renter? Does it have to be in writing? From what i have read it looks like, if the lease agreement is up that there is nothing i need to really do. Please help.
I am the property owner.
